How long until someone arrives?

Is a jump start safe for modern electronics?
We use surge-protected booster packs rather than cables from another car. They are safe for start-stop systems, hybrids and control units.
What if the battery will not hold charge?
It is tested on the spot along with the alternator. If the battery has failed, the correct replacement is fitted there and then, in standard, EFB or AGM form.
How far should I drive after a jump start?
Thirty to forty-five minutes without stopping, roughly 15 to 20 km. A loop on E311 does it. A two-minute trip back to the basement does not.
Which cars do you handle?
