Car jump start in Silicon Oasis
A technician comes to the car with a surge-protected booster pack, starts the engine and then tests the battery and alternator, so you know whether the jump start solved it.

Jump start service
What a car jump start does, and what it does not
A jump start lends a flat battery enough current to turn the engine over once. It does not recharge the battery and it does not repair one that has reached the end of its life. That is why every jump start we do in Silicon Oasis ends with a battery and charging-system test: the reading tells you whether a long drive will bring the battery back or whether it will leave you stranded again tomorrow morning.

Know before you boost
When a jump start is enough, and when it is not
The same symptom, a car that only clicks, can end in four different ways.
A light was left on
A healthy battery drained by an interior light, a dashcam or a week of standing usually recovers. Jump start it, drive for 30 to 45 minutes and it should be fine.
The battery is worn out
A battery past roughly 18 months in Dubai heat may start with a boost and fail again the same evening. The test after the jump start shows this, and a replacement can be fitted on the spot.
The fault is somewhere else
If the engine still will not turn with the booster connected, the cause is likely the starter motor, a terminal, a fuse or the immobiliser. We tell you so rather than sell you a battery.
A jump start is not safe
A battery that is swollen, cracked, leaking or smells of sulphur should not be jump started at all. Step away from it and let the technician replace it.

How a jump start call-out runs
From your message to a running engine, without another car or a set of cables.

Send the location
Building, parking level and bay, or a live pin, plus the make and model. A person answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- 02
Technician arrives
Around 20–35 minutes inside Silicon Oasis. The booster pack is carried by hand, so the van does not need to reach the bay.
- 03
Protected boost
The pack is connected to the battery or to the car's jump-start points and the engine is started. Reverse-polarity and surge protection guard the car's control units.

Test and advice
With the engine running, the battery and alternator are measured. You are told plainly whether to drive it, recharge it or replace it.
Compare
Jump start, recharge or replace?
What each option actually fixes.
| Option | What it does | Right when | Not enough when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jump start | Supplies starting current from a booster pack so the engine can run and the alternator can take over. | A sound battery was drained by lights, accessories or a few idle weeks. | The battery is old, has a failed cell or goes flat again within a day or two. |
| Long drive or recharge | Returns the charge the battery lost. Thirty to forty-five minutes of steady driving after a jump start is the minimum. | The battery tests healthy but low on charge. | The battery will not hold charge, or the alternator is not charging. |
| Battery replacement | Fits a new battery matched to the car, with the charging system checked afterwards. | The test shows low state of health, or the battery is at the end of its service life. | The real fault is the alternator, the starter or a drain while parked. |
A battery that has been run completely flat loses some of its capacity for good. If yours has needed more than one jump start in a month, ask for a test rather than another boost.

Jump start: what people ask
Something else? Call +971 54 309 2008. A person answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How quickly can you jump start my car in Silicon Oasis?
A technician usually reaches cars inside Silicon Oasis in about 20–35 minutes. You get a realistic time when you call or message, based on where the nearest van is.
Can you jump start a car in a basement car park?
Yes. The booster pack is portable, so the technician walks it to the bay. Send the building name, the parking level and the bay number.
Is a jump start safe for a car with start-stop or lots of electronics?
With the right equipment, yes. We use surge-protected booster packs instead of cables from another car, which avoids the voltage spikes that can upset control units.
How long should I drive after a jump start?
Thirty to forty-five minutes without stopping, roughly 15 to 20 km. A short trip back to the basement does not put the charge back.
My car needed a jump start twice this week. What does that mean?
Either the battery no longer holds charge, the alternator is not charging it, or something is draining it while parked. A battery and charging test separates the three.
Can a hybrid or electric car be jump started?
Only its 12V battery, and only at the points the manufacturer provides. The high-voltage system is never touched. See our 12V battery service for hybrids and EVs.
